Pets whose owners can no longer care for them can have their pictures and descriptions posted on Rock County Humane Society's rehoming web database. This service is free for owners who seek new homes for pets and want to work directly with potential adopters. RCHS requires pet owners to register to help ensure the service is not abused.
The RCHS rehoming service is an alternative to surrendering your pet to the shelter. By listing your pet here, your pet is able to stay in the familiar comfort of your home until a new home is found. It also helps to alleviate overcrowding in the shelter.
This rehoming service is NOT intended for the sale of animals or purposely-bred litters. The goal of our rehoming service is for an owner to find a loving, permanent home for their animal, not make a profit on them.
All animals listed on this rehoming service MUST be spayed/neutered.
We strongly encourage including a photo of your animal as postings with photos often generate the most interest. Please note that postings older than 30 days will be deleted from our database. You are welcome to re-post an updated listing of your pet every 30 days as needed.
Any posting not following our posting requirements or deemed inappropriate by RCHS will be removed.
